K'fry Urban Korean and 4Finger

I'm choosing this topic because nowadays korean fried chicken has been trending among youth especially university students in Malaysia. So, today I will make a review about K'fry Urban and 4Finger. There are many different within this two outlet especially about their menu, service and the taste of the chicken.  Although this two outlet are using fresh chicken and natural herbs but they still have a different recipe that makes their own unique taste.

First, I will make a review about the K'Fry Urban Korean that has been viral through the social media nowadays.

K'fry Urban Korean is one of the outlet that served  a several kind of  korean dish such as tteokbokki, ramyeon, bulgogi, kimchi and many more that you will get there but I will focus on the korean fried chicken only. They served  fresh chicken everyday which is their chicken are never frozen but only chilled. That is their motto. They are also using a unique Korean Double Fried Method to make sure the customer will taste the crispiness of the chicken and also the marinates of the chicken make it more juicy.

The Restaurant

This is one of the branches of K'fry that located at Old Street Batu Pahat,Johor. They are open daily but they have different operation hours such as on sunday they will open at 10.15am untill 12.00am, on monday and saturday at 12.15pm untill 12.00 am, on tuesday ,wednesday  and friday at 3.15 pm untill 12.00 am, on thursday 1.15 pm untill 12.00am.

Because of the trending, this restaurant has become one of an option for public especially on the weekend, there were a lot of people from various generations comes to eat in this restaurant so we had to que long to enter in the restaurant. In my opinion to avoid a long que, the customer can make a reservation earlier through online or directly called the restaurant.

The Menu

There are eight flavours of the chicken that customers can choose to enjoy the dishes.

k'fry nude chicks

k'fry spicy yangyeom wings and k'fry honey butter wings

Garlic soya wings and yangyeom wings.

Cutomers can choose two different types of the chicken either drumstick or wing. They also can choose both types of the chicken. For those customer who likes to eat spicy flavours they can choose Yangyeom flavours to feel the heat of the chicken.

The food

The foods portion that were provided is too much. Therefore to make sure not to waste the food, do not order to many of food. For the dish of K'razy spicy fried chicken bumbuk is one the best seller at the K'fry because we can taste the spiciness of the chicken along with the mozarella cheese.

The staff will first seperate the chicken, cheese and fries. Then, They will melt and mix the cheese and after that coat the chicken with the melted cheese. For me, it's taste so good and quite spicy a little bit and sweet but the pepper is super good, the chicken is crunchy and juicy too.

As I told you, there was a long que, but it did not take a long time. I am so amazed with the speed and their customer service which is really friendly though they have a lot of customers that are still waiting for their food. The workes will already take  note of how many persons before they invite us in the waiting area.We were given the menu while waiting our turn which it will speed up the order processing.

The staff are also alert with the surroundings especially when the customers called them, they will reach them quickly. They also will greet us when we walked into the restaurant.

You can take away the leftover, the staff will pack the foods into their packaging. So you dont need to shy to take away your leftovers because you pay to eat that.

The restaurant also has a  comfortable ambience which is really airy and cozy, suitable for all generations.It is such a clean place and the toilet also clean :)

4 Fingers Crispy Chicken

4 Fingers is a Singaporean chain of fast casual restaurants that specialises in crispy Asian style fried chicken. From the first store in Singapore then now it is spread all over the world like Malaysia , Indonesia and Australia. The speciality regarding  4 Fingers Crispy Chicken is cooked using the house recipe. They only use fresh, locally sourced free ranged chicken  thats antibiotic and hormone free.They are cooked with natural herbs and spices with zero artificial flavourings and no MSG and also naturally fermented soy sauces. You will taste a crispy chicken that you will never had before.

The Restaurants

The picture shows one of the 4fingers outlets that located at Sunway Pyramid Mall, Kuala Lumpur.
This restaurant usually will full when it comes to the peak hour especially lunch hour at 12.00 pm which is many of workers will choose this restaurants to eat their lunch.

The Menu

The customer can choose the menu either combo set or ala carte.  The customer also can choose the chicken according to their own taste between spicy flavours or original and and both.

The Food

Whenever I came here, I will prefer a combo set which is this set comes along with the beverages and fries.

For the fries, there are two flavours that we can choose like seaweed or kimchi flavours.
In my opinion about the taste of the chicken is so amazing, I'm really impressed with the texture of the chicken. It is really crispy and crunchy and I'm also can taste the sweetness and the spicyness of the sauce that coated to the chicken It is really fresh.. I prefer it is so good to eat the chicken when it is still hot.

The service

For me, the service is satisfying because although the que was long but we dont have to wait it so long to get the food. The best part of their service is they using the buzzer system which is after we oder our meals at the counter, the staff will give us the buzzer. Once the buzzer lit up, we have to collect the food ourselves at the counter.

The drinks will served immediately for us to bring to our table together with the buzzer, wet wipes and serviette.

Three kinds of things that they will give to you after making an order, the buzzer, serviette tissue and wet tissue.

The serviette tissue and wet tissue is very important for us to make sure our hands clean after eat the chicken.😀

When the buzzer vibrate and lit up, it means that your food is ready to be served. Then you have collect your food at the counter.
